David and Becky Hulsey grew up fishing the waters of the Southern Appalachians for bass, bluegill, trout, and other species. Both of them were exposed to fly fishing at an early age. David became a full time fly fishing guide in the early 1990s. He continues to guide out of his self-built wooden McKenzie drift boat. David and Becky have guided on the waters of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wyoming. Over the years, they have worked and managed fly shops from North Carolina to Florida. David is an Fly Fishers International (FFI) Certified Master Casting Instructor and Becky is an FFI Certified Casting Instructor. Both of them are graduates of the Wulff School of Fly Fishing Casting Instructors Course. Through their years of teaching fly fishing schools and classes, David and Becky have shared their passion and addiction for fly fishing. David is a published outdoor photographer and writer. He has been recognized in several publications such as "The Southeast's Best Fly Fishing", by James Buice, "Fly Fishing Georgia, A No Nonsense Guide to Top Waters" book by David Cannon, and other media like "Growing Up Outdoors" and "O’Neill Outside" on ESPN2. Becky has served on the board of the Southeastern Council of Fly Fishers International and Georgia River Network. She is a past President of Georgia Women Flyfishers. Becky was instrumental in starting the first Casting for Recovery retreat in Georgia. Both David and Becky have served as Simms Guide Ambassadors and Pro Staff for R.L. Winston Rods in Georgia. They have been presenters at several fly fishing clubs, fishing shows and other various organizations to promote the sport of fly fishing. Currently, David and Becky are working at Noontootla Creek Farms in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Noontootla Creek Farms (NCF) offers guided trophy trout fishing on one of the most pristine freestone waters in North Georgia.
