Bass School
The cost for the 4 hour bass school is $250 for 1 student and $300 for 2 students
Our Bass School will quickly and efficiently teach you how to examine your local lake or warm water river and find fish under various weather and water conditions all year. Bass are the number one sought after gamefish in North America and almost everyone lives within an hour drive of a body of water that has a population of these fighters.
We cover different rigs and fly patterns to find Largemouth, Spotted Bass and Bluegill from the surface of the lake to the bottom. Casting and fishing floating and sinking fly lines and flies with a good presentation is covered in detail. Techniques that give you the best chance to connect with the fish are practiced and we want you to be confident and self-sufficient on the water when the class is over. As with all our classes we believe anglers learn more by being on the water doing than talking about it.
The Bass School is given 7 days a week April through October. We supply all the flyfishing gear needed. Our custom ClackaCraft Headhunter Skiff equipped with modern Minn Kota electric motors provides awesome access to some of North Georgia’s best electric only lakes teeming with bass and bream. We fish Lake Zwerner, Hollis Lathem Reservoir, and Hickory Log Reservoir. Beginners or advanced casters are welcome.
